The primary responsibilities of a Move Associate are project management, packing, and unpacking services. Move Associates will be responsible for packing items at the client’s home and unpacking or resettling the client in a senior living community, house or apartment. This involves assessing the contents of the current home and deciding what items would be appropriate to move, determining what to do with leftover items, and packing the items in an efficient and careful manner. Upon arriving at the new home, Associates will work with community employees to manage the details of the move-in, determine the best places to position unpacked items, and ensure movers position furniture according to the approved floorpan. Then, Associates will unpack all items and prepare the room so that the client feels at home right away.
Candidates should have an interest in working with older people, many of whom have physical or mental limitations. This requires a lot of patience and a caring demeanor. Associates will act as company liaisons between Presto and its moving companies and senior living communities. This requires strong verbal communication and organizational skills. Must be able to problem-solve effectively. Must have a car to travel to jobs.

Candidates should be flexible and have availability to work on weekdays between 8am and 5pm. Associates will be scheduled on an as-needed basis and will know work schedules a week in advance in most cases.
