Chances are you have come to terms with the fact that your home is too big to manage if it is time to retire. You don’t want to be straddled with lawn work, exterior maintenance and cleaning rooms you no longer use. If the kids, and most importantly the grandkids, are local, you may want to stay close. If this is the case, you could be looking for a home that will suit your needs and lifestyle with your family close by. However, if your family is not local, you may want to consider a different location and climate altogether.
